About Us

I’ve been interested in family history since I was a teenager. Making a family tree in Home Economics class, I first interviewed my grandmothers. After collecting info from them I was able to build a huge tree and have expanded on it ever since. 

In 2000, I joined ancestry.com and put the info in there, did more research and was able to grow the tree even more. I worked on it in my spare time after work as a mail carrier and weekends when I found the time. I have talked with other family members and collected large amounts of data, pictures and documents. I keep them organized in folders made for each surname. 

In 2015, I got an Ancestry DNA kit and started learning about how DNA works. Once I figured out how to understand it all, I then started helping friends and family with their matches and connecting them with their family members. 

In my spare time I love hanging out with my grandkids, and camping with family and friends.

I’ve always been fascinated with family trees ever since I saw my mom making our family tree. It’s been a hobby of mine ever since. I’ve worked on several family trees for friends over the years. I love working with my mom and sister helping people find family members and building their trees. 

For the past decade I have been a professional stand up comedian, touring all over the country. I also love writing, podcasting, playing bass and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes!

I am a genealogist with Genealogy and DNA Investigators. I became interested in genealogy when my mom started working on the family tree in 2000. As a kid I was always interested in family history, I remember interviewing both of my grandma’s and loved hearing stories about their lives growing up. 

I am a single mom. I enjoy spending time with my son, my friends and family. I also love to read, watch movies and I love helping others. I also love the Kansas City Chiefs & Iowa Hawkeyes!
